Greetings from the Wright family: Geoff, Jillian, Haven and Elijah,
Jillian and I met in 2008 while serving in an evangelism ministry in Montreal, Quebec. From our first experiences in ministry in Montreal Jillian and I both felt God calling us to this unique mission field long term. Over the past 10 years God has continued to direct our path and our passion for the people of Quebec.
Jillian was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, PA and was first introduced to the mission field of Montreal, QC on a short term mission trip with her church in 2008. Having felt a personal burden for the people of Quebec Jillian returned independently the next summer to work with a local church in Montreal.
I, Geoff, grew up in CT but have lived in Maine since 2004. In 2006 God opened my eyes to the Spiritual need in the mission field of Montreal, Quebec. The following summers of 2007 and 2008 I served in an evangelism ministry on the streets of Montreal. After developing a desire to minister long term in Quebec I immersed myself in learning French in 2009 and 2010 through the University of Quebec and Parole de Vie language school. Between stints of time on the mission field I have pursued furthering my education in ministry with an associates degree in Biblical studies from New England Bible College and a certificate in Missional Leadership from Resurgence Training Center. As Jillian and I pursue God’s call to the mission field we have spent the past 5 years establishing our young family in Maine where I have served Windham Baptist Church as a deacon, Missional Community leader and missions board member.
